A favourite regular haunt, the food is fine and very reasonably priced, especially the lunch specials. Coffee is awesome and the staff are great. Love the dog-friendly atmosphere and the great social hub this cafe provides in the area. Very friendly.

This is a typical example of a suburb grunge eatery, and I've had several breakfasts here that whilst were fine, didn't make me addicted. However, a recent lunch was a revelation for my partner and myself, creative and tasty. We've always found the staff attentive but they should tell out of hours staff not to hang around next to tables with paying customers! Not a good look. On a knife edge I think, of being a great local eatery.

Slowly gone downhill over the past 2 years. Kudos to the friendly staff, although the senior staff is rude and needs to change her attitude. We used to visit every Sat/Sun for breakfast over past 18 months. Now we only drop in for a takeaway coffee to say hi to the staff. The coffee is great btw. The breakfast has gone down hill fast, is boring and unimaginative. Nosh need to look at what Duchess in Spotswood and Touks in Seddon is doing.

The premises dirty, windows never ever look clean, front door is covered in stickers, some of which are several years old. The reason Nosh remains busy is because its the only local cafe within walking distance for most people. Duchess will challenge that. Us locals can only hope another well run cafe opens on the corner of Hall and Elphin street in the new premises.

Fantastic coffee. Food is excellent as well. Staff are friendly. The only issue is when too many kids are in there the noise bounces off the walls and roof. Score a quiet time, and it rocks. Outside on a nice day is good and it's dog friendly. Staff are fantastic.

Fabulous food and really great coffee (I normally wouldn't have 3, but in this case I made an exception!). Service was friendly and fast. I'll definitely be going back.

Corner cafe in sleepy Newport. Service friendly. Apparently does the occasional dinner, but I'd be surpised on the basis of our recent lunch. Ocean trout skewers delicious if a bit oily, but the prawns tasted as if they may have been served a day late. The bocconcini and cherry tomatoes were excellent. A roti wrap served warm was quite greasy, and while there was plenty of rocket and avocado, less of this and a bit more salmon would have helped.

Tables had grease marks, water glasses had grease marks, and there were far too many flies for comfortable indoors eating. Definitely child friendly, with a box of toys for the toddlers, and pencils for the older kids, but beware the sign that declares bad children are losing them customers. I think there may be other reasons. Fair inexpensive nosh, but certainly not posh.
