Decided to give this resturant a go tonight with my partner, we walked in on a saturday night about 630pm and it was dead, so we thought we'd get a table easy. No! The staff were annoyed because we didn't have a booking, and although all their seats were vacant except for few people they did not want to take us in. They then told us if they did, we would have to be out by 8pm. We were hungry so we just went ahead.

The food is good and tasty, but the staff customer service levels.. nothing. No service. I had to grab the girls attention to get served to order, and they didn't even take my order until they were ready despite being told I was ready.
They would bring out food, and not even serve it on our plates (we ordered buffet). Buffet was not worth it as the meals were small and for the price of $35 each would have been better selecting our own.

We did not get asked if food was ok, or if we would like more water. I asked for the food to take away, and I got a plastic container and bag thrown at me to do it myself. Ok, so the food is tasty but the staff are absolutely horrible, horrible. No Tip.

What a shame....Food was fantastic, we had a mix of satays, fish cakes and different curries - All were absolutely delicious. However, these front-of house girls need some serious customer service training. Their manner is non-chalant and they really seemed as if they could care less.

Restaurant opened at 5.30pm on a Sat night, we sat down at 7pm and were told they had run out of curry puffs. In 1.5 hours? At the end of the meal, after taking our coffee orders, they returned to say they had also run out of milk?! (Despite there being a 24hour supermarket across the road!). I think we'll try somewhere else next time.

I have been to Narai Thai many times and the food is always lovely. But the service tonight was beyond awful. It was appalling! The waiting staff behaved as though the guests were in the way and a nuisance. They would hand plates to us and stand staring absent mindedly waiting for us to take them. They did not smile or engage positively and I will not be back.

Ticks all the boxes, Spicy, fresh, arrives hot. Great fish cakes. My kids also love it (they eat lots of curries).

Went there for dinner, food really good. However, the whole night was a let down because the waitresses were taking away plates while still eating. This was the theme for each course. I felt like we were being rushed, aside from it not being good table etiquette. I most likely won't go back.

I was excited when Narai Thai were in Diamond Creek but now they have branched out and are in my own neighbourhood. I absolutely love this place! The food is incredible and the service is great. Plus the restaurant itself is lovely. It's my restaurant of choice now!

Ate here last night for the first time. Ambience is excellent with exposed brick walls and simple decor. Food is by far the best thai I have had in Melbourne. For entree we had the veg spring rolls and fish cakes. Both were excellent. Fresh, clean flavours, served with home made sweet chilli dipping sauce.

Chilli, garlic, basil stir-fried calamari was delicious, calamari melted in your mouth and was salty, hot and sweet all at the same time. The Massaman curry with chicken was exceptional. The chicken breast was sliced thinly, very moist and succulent swimming in the rich coco-nutty gravy with peanuts, onion and potato. We also had sides of steamed rice and roti bread.

Very well priced and excellent quality traditional thai food. This is the type of place to enjoy with friends and a few bottles of BYO wine from the bottle shop next door.
Can't wait for my next visit.

I have been to many Thai restaurants and this has become my favourite. Great service, value for money, quality food and this was only take-away. Ambience looks very appealing.
