The butter chicken is to die for. My partner and I have been here countless times. We haven't tried a dish that we don't like. The chicken Jalfrezi is delicious, so is the lamb korma, vindaloo (though at times a little too salty), palak paneer and the Namaste curry, which is a Nepalese chicken curry, are all excellent. We've eaten in once (usually take away) and the service was quick and polite. It's cheap, Indian places in the inner city cost way more!

The only thing I would discourage ordering is the masala tea (chai tea) which wasn't very chai-like. The aloo tikki (like a potato gem or hashbrown) wasn't very good. But no restaurant is perfect. The samosas are very nice as a starter. And their garlic naans arrive at your table hot and fresh.

The place even has the mandatory tacky-chiq indian restaurant decor. Kitschy paintings of buddha and sequined fabric portraits of indian art and random baby pictures, all look down on authentic copper and steel indian cutlery. (It really is indian, we asked the head waiter where they got it from, he told us it was from India). Great place, highly recommended!

Hands down the best Indian I've been able to find. Consistently produces quality food, but has become increasing busy over the last few years and the ambience has suffered dramatically since the renovations to make the restaurant larger. Also, other than the old lady, the wait staff are inexperiences and prone to mistakes.

Yuuummmmy this is a little hidden gem, prices a very reasonable, serves look small but couldn't get through it and I'm a big eater, plenty of dishes to choose from. Staff friendly and helpful. I go to a restaurant for the good food and service everything else is trivial. The only bad thing, we turned up one weekend and couldn't get a seat, was booked out.

Namaste is the local Indian for many in Bundoora. But I find if you are hungry you will have to pay a lot of money for an amount to fill you up. The food is terrific and everything comes with hot-ness options, but I find that the dishes are too small. One dish would be enough to fill one 7 years old boy and that's it.

I also find the toilets very crammed so you have not much room to move. Warning careful of the sink, I've walked into it many times. But if you feel like Indian and don't want to travel too far away for it, Namaste will do. Though if you are keen on good Indian, there is a great place in FairField near the train station.

Courteous staff and nice food, actual restaurant styling a little bland so ambience suffers a bit. As this is local to me I usually find getting take away is easier. Venue is also only BYO which is a bit of a shame.

This is my 'local' Indian. The food here is great and we are always made to feel welcome. Meat is tender and curry's are flavorsome. Could do with some new vegetarian options, though. Request food 'Indian hot' if you like it spicy.

An important note: you will see many Indian people come to eat here or get takeaway - always a good sign!
Highly recommended.
