Overview of Moulin Noir

If you are after ambience, great food and service, this intimate place has all of these elements. Upon entering Moulin Noir, you could be forgiven for thinking you are in the heart of a European city. Our unique mixed European and French menu consists of tasting plates which you can choose from a selection of about 10 items. The size of each item is of a tapas style and these are presented on one platter to share or have all to yourself. We also offer a small range of blackboard mains which are regularly changed. It's tucked away on Rouse Street (off Bay Street) so you are guaranteed of a quiet and pleasant experience if you decide to dine alfresco.

    We have been here for dinner twice. As a couple we did the predictable, MM had the Angus eye fillet and pronounced it excellent. I chose the bouillaibasse, packed with a delicious variety of fresh seafood in an excellent broth. Next visit was with sister in law. Once again, we each chose a main dish. Next time we must try some of the tapas.
