The food here was amazing, I will definitely come back to eat. Prawns as entree was one of the most if not the best prawns I've had. We devoured them in seconds. The mains were also beautiful and so tasty. The belly dancer was a surprise and was a good change as you don't normally get entertainment at a restaurant. It was great to move to one of the couches nestled in the wall to have a quiet coffee. The experience must have also agreed very well with my boyfriend because after we left he proposed! So I have to say a perfect way to end a great evening!

The service was very slow. Perhaps, make sure you have had a feed before hand so that when you are waiting the hour or so for your mains you do not pass out from starvation. When the food eventually came most of the meals were lovely except that one of the racks of lamb was very fatty.
Response from Management:
Thank you for your feedback Rozlisa. I'm glad you enjoyed the food but disappointed to hear about the delay with your meal - especially as I know you had young kids there.
Our restaurant patronage has grown quite rapidly in the past two months and we have been getting busier each week and I acknowledge that it is important for us to keep up with this growth.
We have just undertaken a full retraining of all our staff and management and have also increased our staffing for front of house and kitchen to ensure a quicker and higher level of service.
I would love to have you back again sometime in the future to make amends for this experience.

This place has to be biggest disappointment, I have had to experience. Was looking forward to dinner here. The ambience is awesome but thats about it. The service is friendly and informal but slow and very laid back. The food is the biggest let down. Chorizo served in a middle eastern restaurant is surprising enough but whats worse is the crap quality of the chorizo and I know chorizo (its similar to the home brand chorizo in coles).
The moroccan banquets are no big deal. The saving grace was the chicken tangine and the mezzes (lamb kofta, spiced peach (which turned into a pear) with haloumi, and stuffed mushroom). Besides we were charged corkage ($15) for a bday cake. The ambience is great but I'd rather get my own food and staff.
Response from Management:
I appreciate your comments - we are always striving to improve our service and quality. As owner and general manager of the venue, I was disappointed to hear of your bad experience, but your feedback has enabled me to address the issues you highlighted. We have just completed a full retraining of all service and kitchen staff and have also increased staffing on our busy nights to keep up with our rapid growth in patrons and bookings.
We have also reassessed our supplier deals, including replacing our chorizo supplier since you highlighted this matter (we were actually paying a premium for this chorizo).
I note your point re the contrast of chorizo in a Moroccan restaurant. However, it was a conscious choice based on the fact that Moroccan cuisine is very heavily influenced by its neighbor Spain as well as numerous other cuisines such as the Portugese. The strong demand from our clientele who are predominantly non-muslim also drove the decision to include chorizo in our offerings. Our new menu however (due soon) will most likely replace this with Halal Turkish sausage.
