Highly recommend this place: Excellent food, a good range of wines by the glass, very friendly service and extraordinary overall value. The owner was very helpful with advice on wines, offering a few tastes so we could make the right choice. Snails, mussels, duck, quail, chocolate mousse and citron tart all superb!

My girlfriend and I eat here regularly and always have a fabulous time. Jenny always gives us excellent service, and the food and wine are lovely. I would definitely suggest ordering the escargot for an entree, and one of their beautiful cuts of meat for a main, accompanied by one of the French wines they have on offer.

We took my dad here for dinner after rave reviews on this site. We were unsure at the look of the building and location, it seemed uninteresting and obscure but we went in anyway. We were the only customers at first, but two more tables later joined us, it must have been unusual post holidays timing. We were all impressed by the owner who served us and was so charming, she swept my dad off of his feet.

The food was superb and everyone loved all the dishes, everything was wonderful! The restuarant is very small and family run, which adds to the appeal if you are looking for a personal experience.

What a divine place. Mussels were heavenly, beef was perfectly cooked and the Dijon Glaze' was to die for. Service was great and we felt like a part of the family when we left. Lemon and or Orange crepe's were mouthwatering. Such a cozy place, packed to the brim with patrons and others happily waiting for any free table they could get. Service was very efficient, fantastic chef, and well worth a visit.

I ordered the pate to start which was certainly the best I have tasted in Melbourne, followed by the cote de boeuf which was excellent, it had a caramalised dijon glaze over the top of it which went beautifully with the meat which was presented on a wooden board, followed by a very tangy sharp lemon tart which was light and tasty as you would expect to find in France.

The place was pretty full and had a nice buzzy atmosphere for a week night. The service was excellent, the waitress was exceptionally friendly and effecient. I brought my own wine and the corkage was 4.50 a bottle which is fair, their wine list was small but good, all in all I thought it was very good value for money

As a French young women, I can tell you that it is the best French restaurant that I have never seen in Melbourne. You couldn't find anything comparable. Food is gorgeous and you won't never leave hungry! And above all, owners and chefs constitute a wonderful family that you can only love...
