    By far the best duck in Melbourne! We went with family for an anniversary dinner. The duck with mushrooom and duck with brandy sauce are worth going back for. A very small restaurant the seats 14-16 (plus a few outside) which adds to the atmosphere. Lovely local and imported wines, which you select from the side wall, nice touch. Overall definitely worth the visit.

    We noticed Mon Ami had opened, so checked it out. We both love duck, fortunately, as it dominates the menu. Both choices were delicious, as was our side of braised red cabbage. I am still mentally analysing it, trying to figure out which mystery ingredient makes it subtly and deliciously different from the one I make (recipe pinched from my German uncle).

    All the desserts seemed to know MM's name, he had trouble deciding. We were both so impressed we have booked for our wedding anniversary.
