    This is a very unassuming restaurant with daggy signage that really belies the quality of the food and service. Everything I have eaten here, over 3 visits, was delicate, prepared with care, interesting, and quite delicious. This is not a place where you order japanese standards, the menu is a nice blend of modern and traditional.

    The service can be a bit over-attentive if anything, but I far prefer my water glass to be filled too many times during a meal than having to practically beg wait staff for a jug of water. This place needs an interior designer to come in and give it a facelift but if you don't mind decor thats not chic or cool, I would highly recommend Mitsuno's for a quiet night out with lovely, reasonably priced food. I hope more people start going there because we need more japanese restaurants with this calibre of food.

    Delicious modern Japanese cuisine with great personalised service. Very accommodating with request for gluten-free food. Small but excellent wine list appropriate for this food style.
