We try and eat here once a week (usually for lunch) we love it so much and they are happy to accommodate our one year old son. Just be sure to book if it's a weekend or if you have a group.

I can't believe this isn't listed under Yum Cha as it is quite easily the best Yum Cha we have ever had (if there is a Chinatown - we look for Yum Cha be it Sydney or San Francisco). Super fresh with quality ingredients and ridiculously cheap.

We also love the five spiced whole flounder and all the fabulous BBQ meats (duck/pork) they hang in the window to tempt you. Much of the huge menu is authentic Vietnanese/Chinese cuisine but they also have a good selection of dishes for those who are more familiar with your local Chinese takeaway. They also cater to the more adventurous with tripe, chicken's feet etc - Anthony Bourdain would feel right at home.

Service is quick and friendly, and the place is usually packed with locals. These things and the fact the decor is basic is usually a sign, the food and the value are great which is certainly the case at Minh Tan 2.
