This was a terrible experience from entry. Waitress serving us with a grunt, dirty and chipped crockery, wontons over fried, lathered in unwanted sauce, rare beef salad well cooked, to mention a few. And after querying the bill, waitress chased us down the street to incorrectly tell us we'de paid someone else's bill. Sadly the only time she had shown interest in us. Went to the restaurant a couple of years ago and enjoyed it, but can't see a reason to go back.

Pretty good food and very reasonably priced, but admittedly we've had better on Victoria Street. We had san choi bow for starters, delicious but awkward to eat as the lettuce leaves came with the filling and were too hot and limp for us to pick up. I think we made a mistake ordering the salt pork with spicy sauce, it was way too salty to eat more than a couple of pieces each. The red duck curry was fantastic, fragrant and generous.

As far as decent Vietnamese food at cheap prices goes, you could do a lot worse than Minh Minh. But with so many competitors around Victoria St., I don’t think a bad Vietnamese restaurant would last long. The décor is basic, but you’re not there for style. The food is tasty and the main issue that I had with the menu was the overabundance of stir-fries and lack of curries. The only ones we could find were on the specials board, and my issue was that the red duck curry was fantastic. I’d have loved to try a few more.

Have been to Minh Minh countless times and would go back again for sure! Sandy who runs the joint is a pint sized lady with a plus sized personality, she is always a hoot to chat to and keen to make you feel welcome.

The atmosphere is noisy and busy, so if you want a more quiet or intimate evening I recommend you choose another place. It's a great place to take a group of friends for a very casual dinner. The menu is vast and the specials change regularly, if you can grab Sandy's attention ask her what she recommends and try something new.

Prices are about the same as some of the disappointing looking restaurants on the strip, but the decor is more modern in comparison. Food is always great and service is about what you'd expect from a cheap Vietnamese eatery, rarely you may get a mix up in the kitchen where a dish is missed or comes late but usually you have enough other stuff on the table that it isn't an issue.

Definitely one of the better places on Victoria St. Check it out!

Fabulous place! Downstairs is pretty crowded, and seemed really hot on a March evening, but even so everyone was really happy and enjoying themselves. We were seated upstairs, and it's amazing up there. There were 6 of us for dinner and we must have ordered about 8 entrees and at least 6 mains plus rice and noodles. The total bill including soft drink was $185 and to be honest none of us could move afterwards we were so full.

Minh Minh is BYO and there's a bottleshop 2 doors down, so it's really easy to get something once you get there. Loved the San Choy Bow and the beef with snow peas was fabulous. Would have loved a sizzling platter, but you can't have these upstairs due to the carpet (odour from sizzling dishes goes into the carpet).

The staff are friendly and have a laugh and the food comes up from the kitchen so quickly that it literally burns your tongue when you eat it! Fresh food, generous portions and friendly staff make this a definite favourite and I will return! Car parking around this area is a bit hit and miss, but this is hardly the restaurants fault. Can't wait to come back again, just wished I didn't live so far away (SE Suburbs.)!

Ate here last night with my partner. We had chicken spring rolls to start, which were absolutely yummy. Then we had coconut rice with mongolian beef and satay chicken as a main. The coconut rice was excellent, they dribbled coconut milk on it, and it was so creamy, almost like a dessert. The food came out very fast, and the staff were very friendly and quick. Good value and good food. We will be back here for sure!

Had lunch here today and we will definitely go back. We've been before and it is always very good. Today we had five entrees. We tried some new things but my friend always likes the beef salad with lime and the chicken spring rolls are our favourite of the four varieties. The Yom Kha with tofu (lao style) was especially spicy and good.

I'm assuming it was Sandy who was sharing information about Laos. We will revisit for further information. Before our visit to her home country later in the year and some more good food. The table next to us has a beef and noodle stew with bread rolls (not on the menu) that they said was outstanding but I don't like beef so we didn't have it.

A group of friends went on Friday night after rave reviews from a local. The food is very good and very reasonable. Don't go there if you want a quiet night though, we couldn't hear each other and were basically involved in everyones conversations due to the proximity of the tables.

I have been going to Minh Minhs for six years, sandy and her team are so valuable and the food is absolutely to die for. I have eaten at very many Thai restaurants and none offer the service, not the quality of food along with such an amazing affordability. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and say hi to sandy.

In comparison to all the other restaurants I've tried on Victoria street, I found this had by far a better food/ambience combination. All the dishes I tried were really good, I especially liked the chicken lettuce bun and beef in wine leaves, yum! Good price at the end too! It's made my favourites list.
