Great group booking venue as opposed to a romantic night out. The food was excellent, very authentic Lebanese. The staff were attentive and the show by the belly dancer was a nice touch.

While the staff were lovely, I was told I could dine gluten-free here and received an email from the restaurant assuring me it was possible - only to be served a salad with cracked wheat (not good). The waiter and kitchen staff (both of whom I spoke to on the night of our dinner) were confident that a coeliac could dine here, but if you have special dietary requirements I think Mezza is a place best missed.

As a Sydney-sider now residing in Melbourne, I had heard quite a few things about Mezza and finally tried it on Sunday afternoon. I must say this is truly authentic Lebanese food! It was so good I could have mistaken it for my mum's cooking had I been blindfolded and no one makes Lebanese food like my mum!
Hospitality was truly Middle Eastern (warm and friendly) and the ambience made me feel like I was back in Lebanon with the restaurant decked out in photos from the motherland, cushions and other traditional houseware. This will definitely be a regular for me!

I was down in Melbourne from Sydney recently and luckily came across Mezza as another restaurant I had intended to visit had its doors closed for lunch whilst falsely advertising that they did lunch trade which I was not happy about. I really went out of my way to get there, but there is always a positive from every negative and wasn't Mezza a hidden gem.
It was one of the best Middle Eastern meals I have had in a long time, and I really really loved the owners hospitality and attitude as it felt like someone was welcoming you into their own home. I would have loved to have seen the restaurant during dinner trade, as the owner did tell me they were fully booked, so I would have loved to have seen the atmosphere.
The falafel with tahini sauce is as good as I have had anywhere and that includes in the Middle East, eg Dubai, etc.

The food was fantastic and the service the same. You really do feel like your part of the family! We have been several times and taken friends and family with us on each return and everyone loves Mezza. We definitely recommend it.

Booked for five on a Wednesday night, and got a shock to find we were the only ones in this cavernous restaurant. Apprehension turned to delight when the food arrived. We shared different platters, so tried a wide selection from the menu, and the food was fresh, excellent and classic Lebanese. Still can't work out why it was empty, but maybe Sat nights are to go when belly dancers strut their stuff.

Great Fresh Food, friendly fast staff and warm comfortable feel is how I would describe my experience at Mezza. We were a group of 8 and I can say without a doubt every single one of us fully enjoyed the experience. I highly recommend this place.
