    We called in on Sunday for the "Slow Sunday" deal. I was disappointed when we were told the advertised mussels were unavailable. I settled on fish and chips instead. This was excellent. Tasty fresh fillets in a light as air, not at all greasy batter, with plenty of shoestring chips and a bowl of tartare sauce and a glass of Sauv Blanc.

    The Meat Man had lamb shank, falliing from the bone, meat succulent and tender, the sauce very tasty, with some very good mash, a glass of shiraz with it. We then had very good coffees. MM was disappointed at the short dessert menu, fudge brownie or ice cream. He had hoped that a chef who could produce the lamb shank had also produced a winter dessert, sticky date pud, an apple crumble, whatever.
