If we want a lovely meal, with exquisite service and a warm atmosphere in beautiful surroundings, Maroush is our choice. So far we have not found any restaurants in Melbourne that makes us feel as prioritized and welcomed as this place. The service and concern for our individual satisfaction is the same every time, independent of how many people they serve. We can bring our own wine if we prefer that.

In all honnesty, i think you might have gone to the wrong restaurant, because comparing your review to my experience, there is absolutely no comparison.
Personally, I have been there numerous times and everytime I just cannot get enough. The food is exquisite, the service is delightful and the atmosphere is unbeatable. I definitely recommend this restaurant especially for those who understand in quality and service.

Maroush Restaurant in Eltham is absolutely the best food, service and value for money we have found anywhere! We eat out on a regular basis and find that whenever we do Maroush is at the top of the list to visit. The staff are absolutely fantastic, friendly and helpful in recommending dishes that we may not be familiar with. The banquet in particular is great value. The only way to describe the food is that the flavours dance in your mouth. Highly recommended.

Absolutely the best experience I've had in a long time. The food was exquisite, the quality was like nothing I've had, the lamb and beef were to lean and tender and amazingly clean. The service was flawless, water and menus arrived upon seating, food came out on time, waiter was very helpfull with suggestions and always checking to see that everything was ok. Every little detail about the whole place from the kitchen which is open to see inside, to the toilets are squeaky clean. Management was very caring and obviously loved what they do. I've recommended Maroush to all my friends. Can't wait to go back. A very impressive night indeed.

This restaurant provided the worst service and very poor servings of food for the amount of money you pay. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Not only did my group of 40 have a bad night we went back home and ate again. If you'r looking to spend a fortune on food and not have a good night then this restaurant is for you.

The food is tasty but quite pricey especially when you get takeaway. The decor and atmosphere are great. We went to a wedding there a few years ago and we had a great time.
