Not much to say here but I thought eveything was a bit over priced for a hotel! $4.40 for a pot of carlton draught was robbery even in this day and age. I don't mind paying the extra if the service and experience is there but it definitely was not. Disappointed.

Well what can I say about my first experience at the highly recommended Marine Hotel. A few words come to mind, disappointing house, pathetic and hopeless!
Not only was the service unprofessional and extremely slow the food was worse.

Firstly it started with a wonderful bottle of salty water, yes I said salty. The excuse given was that the water had fluoride in it, what a lot of crap, it was full of cleaning salt. When our food finally arrived it was overcooked and dry, by the time we could even get a staff members attention our food was half eaten and cold so we didn't want to wait for replacements which weren't offered anyway.

We didn't get so much as an apology just excuses. Finishing the meal with a few desserts which were not too bad we ordered some coffee's which were less than professionally made. When we decided enough was enough we got up and left feeling like we'd been screwed over and robbed of our money. What a disgrace, I shall never be back.
