Overview
Cute and cosy venue, the dining room is surrounded by beautiful Mandala art. A courtyard available which seats up to 30 people and is designed with serenity in mind with lots of plants, greenery and communal dining tables.
Drawing inspiration from the Mandala, we strive to serve your gastronomical taste to the fullest, here at our restaurant. Just like the monks who put so much rigor and discipline into preparing these Mandalas, we too have put great care and attention in preparing your meal.

Me and girlfriend enjoyed a lovely meal at Mandala recently. The setting is perfect with dim lighting, candle lit tables, good music selection and the thoughtful spiritual mandala art on the walls. The feel and the setting were very warm and welcoming.
The service was very kind and friendly. We both enjoyed every bit of our meal. The 'apple chat' was an interesting starter with varying texture and flavours, yet came together perfectly together. We had the lamb shanks and the duck for mains and both deserves 10/10. Fresh crispy vegetables and full of flavors with fresh herbs and spices. Great setting, great service, the best food. Great value for money. Can't wait for our next visit.

The ambience at this restaurant was just perfect. It is nice, quiet, relaxing and the candles on the table and dimmed lights were great (although we did have dinner on a Thursday night and there weren't many customers in the restaurant). Service was great, waitress was very friendly.
We ordered the cripsy skinned pork for starters and that was quite nice. A bit disappointed with the mains though. We ordered coconut prawns which was quite bland and chicken with cashew nuts, which was mediocre and we only found 2 cashew nuts? (lol).
The place was nice overall, with food being only mediorce but maybe it was because we ordered 'curry-type' dishes. Other dishes may have been better.

One of Melbourne's best secrets. Myself and my date enjoyed the food, the ambience, the cleanliness. The waitress was sweet and kind, just a little soft to hear what she was saying.

Delicious. Well priced, excellent prompt and friendly service. I only wish the wine wasn't as good as it was then we wouldn't have drunk so much of it.

The art on the wall and the thoughtful introduction to the menu set the scene well for this modern asian eatery. The Apple Chaat to start is a must, the delicate outer pastry melts in your mouth and the flavours are just perfect and for just $8-9 my only regret was that my partner and I didn't order two! We had the lamb shank and the almond chicken for the mains and were not disappointed.
The service was friendly and attentive, but never overbearing. For dessert, the banana spring roll again had a wonderful flaky outside that just melted in the mouth. Definitely worth a short trip to check out, and recommended for a small group of friends or with a partner.
