The Phoenix Park Cafe is a wonderful find for parents that have babes, tots, and pre-school age children. It is situated next to Phoenix Park, which contains amazing fort, castle wooden play structures. Here you will find a sand pit, slides, swings, forts with towers, swinging bridge, musical bells, monkey bars, flying fox, climbing structures and much more. The park is the product of a massive community project and you are able to see the names of the individuals that contributed labour and material carved into the fence railings.
The cafe is a popular venue for children's birthday parties, which it has years of experience organising and catering. I've found their parties are much more personal than what you'd find at McDonalds.
The coffee served is a quality tasty organic blend and the cafe provides a good spot to kick back and relax while the kids safely enjoy activity in the playground. A hot tip is that it is perfect to take kids for Dads that have their kids every second weekend and challenged for keeping them busy. Anyway, I like this cafe.

I have eaten at Servery & Spoon a handful of times and I have to say that the experience has been mediocre every single time. The environment is quite nice, very modern and plenty of seating available. However, the food is expensive for what's on offer and the menu is exceptionally limited. Aside from all day breakfast the only other offerings are the occasional toasted sandwich.
Whilst this is nice on occasion, I daresay it will not suit everyone. Having said that, their iced coffees have to be amongst the best I've ever tasted. Whilst they are expensive for the small glass that you get, it is enough to keep me coming back to Servery & Spoon time and time again. (Just not for food.)

The playground is awesome, however we were extremely disappointed in the attitude in that woman running the cafe. We were first told we were not allowed inside as we had food from home for toddlers so we sat outside and then were told to move as there were too many of us. Rude to say the least especially since the 8 of us spent quite a bit of money in there. My advice would be to McCafe up the road and bring your own food/coffee and enjoy the wonderful playground.

Cafe seemed to top of what was a great day at a fabulous childrens park. Menu was above what You'd expect from a basically a solo ran cafe, service was friendly and food arrived hot and in a fair time. On top coffee was a beautiful organic bean. Have visited 3 times at time of review and similar expirence each occasion.
