Ok service and conveniently opened late but hellishly overpriced for ordinary Chinese food. Very limited menu that made us wish we'd just gone to the food court or ordered room service. Wouldn't return or recommend. A thorough disappointment.

What delightful dining experience the new Lucky Chan proved to be last Saturday.
The food was superb and I liked the IPad app for reviewing the menu items, great innovation.

The service was efficient and professional in what appeared to be a very busy service period. Our interstate visitors were also most impressed and believe me they are very experienced diners!

Keep up the great quality, service and ambience as we look forward to becoming regular Lucky Chan patrons. The restaurant is very smart indeed and should prove an asset to the Crown complex.

The New Lucky Chan, just down from the old one, was a complete surprise, beautiful surrounds, attentive staff, food great, price reasonable for this class of restaurant. Just a pleasant place to dine and entertain. Well Done!

Went to the newly opened Lucky Chan. Very nice and detailed restaurant. They are using iPad as menu, very impressive. Food is good and cleverly presented. Price wise is average around the area, not overly priced. They were really busy Friday night, but staffs still attentive.

The waiters were surly and the food was terrible. Peking Duck was a joke. This is a tourist rip off joint. Expensive and dreadful value for money, will not be going anywhere near the place again.

After a good lunch at Lucky Chan we decided to take some friends out to dinner. We had reasonable service to start and looked forward to a really enjoyable meal. Unfortunately, the food servings were very small (compared to other Chinese restaurants and to the servings at lunch).

The vegetables were of the worst quality. We received cut base stems from asparagus which had been peeled to make them look better. The steamed rice came in the tiniest little cup with no opportunity to receive more rice. Once we had been served the staff totally ignored us.

I rarely provide a bad review but felt that the public had a right to know how bad this restaurant treated its customers.

Rush you through. Bland food. Not "chinese". Would not slow down. Partner felt ill from the rush. Not worth it. Mind you, the house wine special was good! Hadn't finished, gave us the bill. Gave them the feedback, they didn't care!

I was there with my 2 sons for yum cha and after we had finished they had billed me for 5 servings of steamed dim sums, when I only ordered 2. I do not recommend this restaurant to any one these people are thieves.

Very expensive. $16 for a cup of chicken feet soup. $12 for sun choy bow charged extra for noodles for a $300 crab. We paid $1000 for 8 people with one bottle wine and each had one alcoholic drink, never again.

Had dinner with my family. Ordered 3 dishes but left after the second dish. The service was very poor and we waited ages for the dishes to arrive, by which time our rice was cold and we lost our appetite. Worst of all, the kitchen staff can't cook. The 2 dishes we had were very basic and common Chinese dishes. The cook can't even get them right.

The place was, however, packed with people, many of them are tourists like me I suspect. No wonder they call themselves Lucky Chan. They are so lucky because they are doing good business because of the location and has no chance of surviving if they ever come to Sydney.
