It is great to have lunch and drink the afternoon away at Little Creatures Dining Hall. Still, the sight of the vast hall (260 seats including bar stools) makes it also ideal for big groups out to celebrate. It is a dining hall but a big chunk of its appeal is still the beer from Little Creatures brewery, available on tap. The menu revolves around tasty morsels that go well with beer—snacks such as chorizos and peanuts, pizzas, pies and grilled stuff.

It's a big noisy barn but the pizzas and chips are great and the beers are fantastic. Read a lengthier and more in depth review on my blog.

If you love Little Creatures beers, this is definitely the place for you. My preference is the pilsner which goes for $9.50 a pint. There’s still plenty of choice of wine and cider as well.

Didn't mind the place, went here mainly for the beers not the so much the food. I enjoyed the beers, however thought they were a tad expensive. Was with a group of about 12 and mainly got pizzas and other such items. Not too bad at all I thought, quite a pleasant night out.

Went during the first Grand Final 2010, after visiting muesum. It was quiet which was a bit unexpected but, perhaps, gave us more time to appreciate the restaurant. We went for a late lunch and while it was quiet it wasn't empty. I've never been there so the fact I had to drive afterwards meant I didn't get to enjoy the selection of beer and wine as much as I might have.
The food was well prepared and the service was good without being over bearing. The prices were a little expensive though for what is essentially pub food. Not a bad place though, especially if you want to try some different beers!

Great for a drink (the beer and cider are fantastic), although the food isn't anything to write home about - some of the pizzas are an acquired taste, and it's pricey for the serving sizes.

We were here on a Thursday night and it was very crowded. The food was ok, not as good as your traditional beer cafes and certainly was a bit over priced. No vegetarian or gluten free options either. Beer is fantastic, but one of our party found a hair in his.

We entered the dining hall to escape the rain one rainy Friday afternoon and were happily surprised by the size of the dining hall and the fantastic warehouse style decor. I really enjoyed the variety on the menu, none of us could decide what to have, but all were very satisfied by their meals. Service was friendly and attentive, and although it wasn't super cheap, I still felt like I got good value for my money. This is a really fun place to visit with a bunch of friends on a lazy afternoon, so you can enjoy the whole variety of the menu and the fantastic beers!

"Little" creatures, known for their beer and not their food. Although nice, the food was very expensive for the size of the plates, example 4 lamb parcels for $16, these resembled mini spring rolls. After sharing 4 dishes between 4 and a drink each and paying in excess of $100 we wondered down Brunswick St to find a bar where we had 3 large pizzas and a drink each for $27 just to fill up our still empty stomachs. Maybe I would return for a drink, but not the food.

Have been here twice on visits from interstate. First time round was so great for our mixed group, we came back hoping to reorder the excellent ploughman's board only to find it was no longer on the menu. Decided to stay and try something else, very disappointing.
Advice on the menu of "try a little something to share" should be taken very literally. The food is very very little but sharing the bill might soften the blow. We were not expecting plates heaving with food, but we ordered enough to make a meal for 3 adults based on menu description and price only to find most dishes would be best served as tapas or less. Too expensive for far far too little and the ambience has changed. To be fair the staff were lovely and attentive.

Cavernous space that still manages to be reasonably welcoming - though could it be the huge bar down one side? I love the tiny glasses - pony - that allowed me to try a variety of different beers without falling over, and the pizzas are pretty good too. Great short pastry on the pies. The service was a little slow on the Sunday we visited but then - who wants to hurry on a Sunday? We also liked the weird little side room with the comfy sofas - not sure why. This place is all about the beer; the food was OK but if I were rating it as a restaurant (as opposed to a bar) I'd lower the ambience and score.
