Mum and I ate here for dinner on a weeknight and the restaurant was pretty empty. Had Fantastic service from our friendly waitress. Very attentive and happy to have a little chat. For entree's we ordered calamari and prawns which were nice but nothing special. Both of us ordered the eye fillet steak which was Beautiful.

Purchased a Scoopon for this meal which was Excellent value. The steak was so nice I will probably still return.

It took over an hour for the food to come out. Whilst it was alright it was stone cold. There wasn't anybody in the place. We were the only two eating. Usually I buy deals from Groupon.com.au - this guy should consider doing something like that... but fixing his service first!

The food was fabulous. My husband said it was quite the best Italian food he had eaten and I agree. The timing from the kitchen between courses was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you all at Lento for a truly memorable birthday dinner. When we return to Melbourne we will definitely be back for more!

I started dining here 1 wwek after it opened, it is now my favorite, we have such a choice but the consitency of Lentos is excellent, it is a credit to the industry, I am back again Tuesday this week.

A little touch of Tuscany in Melbourne. Excellent service from the moment you walk in with authentic Italian cooking.

The food is presented beautifully and the flavours just make these dishes as good as they look. The Menue is extensive and the Duck is delicious. On a busy Friday night (and "Lento" being fully booked) all our meals arrived to the table at the same time and with the perfect break between courses.

Leave room for dessert, you will be glad you did. They certainly live up to their name: a wonderful relaxed evening of friends great food and all enjoyed at a "Lento" pace.

Thoroughly recommend this restaurant... A +++++

Went to Lento last Sunday and had such a wonderful experience of good food and Great hospitality! such a lovely combination. I have a little toddler who got showered with loads of attention and care and goodies on the way home. The food was simple and delicious and the dessert was out of this world. A great place to catch up with family and friends.

I decided to check this place out after a friend recommended it and have to say that I can only do the same. Both the service and atmosphere were superb. The food was simple and delicious. A nice menu with a good wine list. A great place to bring colleagues to for dinner. Will certainly go back.

I dined here for the first time on Saturday night. Being in the hospitality industry, I am really pleased when I come across something that is consistent across the board. With no booking, and a full house inside, we were seated on the deck to experience the Italian menu which had been prepared using clean, fresh ingredients. Wine list good and affordable. Food mouthwatering - fig and goats cheese salad and gnocchi with prawns. Service and host delightful. Keep it up and I will be back!

Excellent service with a pleasant outdoor ambience on a warm night. The food is quite good, howeve,r relatively expensive for the immediate neighbourhood. B.Y.O. charge is not as advised (on this page) and at $10 a bottle (not at 7.50 as shown here), is way too high. Could be a long term occupant here but not at the prices charged at the present time.
