Overview of Le Traiteur

Le Traiteur means "the caterer". We bake twice a day, just like in Paris, so you can have croissants just out of the oven with your coffee at 7am, or rush in on your way home from work and pick up a baguette still warm.

Menus change daily, but breakfast may include such delights as baked emmenthal and tarragon brioche, croque monsieur, corned beef hash with bubble and squeak. Grab a fresh baguette for lunch with fillings such as roasted duck, baked pear and caramelised onions or rabbit terrine, bitter leaves and hazelnut dressing. Meals include coq au vin and beef bourguignon. Catering and takeaway available.

    Le Traiteur has changed my life! Amazing food, lovely staff, finally somewhere in Melbourne with baguettes to die for. And then there's the sweet things. I've been there at least twice a week since it opened. Hoping it's going to open on the weekend soon!
