My husband took me for Valentine's day. Food was lovely and the view of the park gorgeous. The waiting staff were knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
Only downside was the ventilation in the terrace building was completely lacking. We both left the restaurant smelling like a grill.

Another great Melb restaurant. Every one of our dishes was beautifully presented and was delicate to taste, particularly the veal with a tiny veal pie special. The goats cheese souffle was so soft but a little sweet.

Attentive service along with a good wine selection made this a terrific dinner. I'd like to see more left-field experimental 'chef's creation' dishes - possibly on the daily specials menu.

Recently went for dinner and we really did enjoy our night. The food is not spectacular but is good European style fare. Particularly enjoyed the souffle that we had for dessert. The service provided was just spectacular. I don't think I have ever been so well looked after. The manageress (owner?) overheard that it was my husband's birthday, and decorated his dessert plate with a Happy Birthday message. Such a lovely thought. A really nice night.

We had an intimate wedding and booked the private dining room for 20 people. From the planning stage until the dinner on our wedding day, the service was excellent with real attention given to what we wanted by the owner and maitre d'. The food was sensational and the menu developed in consultation with us by the owner who is also the chef (Erich Mohr).

Nothing was impossible for him from what we requested, even catering excellently for some of our vegetarian guests. The slow roast duck (house speciality) melted in the mouth and the flavour was to die for. Our day was perfect and this was largely contributed by the excellent food and service by Le Gourmet. Highly recommended.
