Good pizza place. We went in a group of 12 which enabled us to taste different kind of pizza's and pasta's. I think the pizza is good but some of my friends love the pasta. Pizza crust was nice and juicy on top. One of the best pizza place that I've been too.

I had lunch at Ladro today. I ordered the spatchcock cooked in the oven to perfection on a delicious celeriac mash and the silverbeat was pan fried with garlic and bread. I am glad I ordered that because the Salami Pizza my friend ordered was undercooked and he is still trying to digest it now 5 hours later.

We have a pizza oven and to us it seemed the pizza oven was not hot enough and therefore the base although thin was heavy and not light. The base was flavourless and pretty bland. Nothing like an Italian pizza base. It was more like a cheap chain food pizza base. A very disappointing 3 for the pizza and a 10 for the Spatchcock. Service was good as was the ambience.

Went to Ladro the first time last night as someone recommended it to me. It was fantastic, the staff were very efficient. Great run down of the specials and great knowledge about the wine, recommended a great wine. The pizza was great (gourmet type) I had the prawn and pea with basil and chilli. Too good.
