We love the pizzas at La Taverna, especially the gourmet ones, I highly recommend the Gaguzza! Since they have renovated it has only got better, a great little place that is friendly for both kids and families (early) or romantic for couples (late). We have been getting our pizzas here for about five years and I'm yet to get a bad pizza. The only negative thing is the pizza kitchen staff/senior staff can be a bit crabby, he needs to lighten up and put on a bit more charm to his customers!

Always reliable local pizza restaurant, good for dine in or delivery. Interior a bit worn. Menu recently updated. Interior recently updated, food still as good.

Being an east brunswick resident my whole life I have seen many changes in the area. La Taverna has had a few and this time around they have perfected it. Wow the recently renovated restaurant looks fantastic now. The owners tell me there are lots of changes on the wine and food side which sounds great. The ambience now truly captures what the area needs. Beautiful food, great wine list, fantastic service, all at a reasonable prices that won't send you home shuttering. Great job. Definitely be my regular.

La Taverna gets busy these days and that comes as no surprise given the menu on offer. Delicious basic Italian fare that can surpass rivals in Carlton. My only complaint is that they no longer do a thin crust Americana they way they used to, that Pizza I used to rate against any in the world.
