We come with our family since its the only place where I can not go wrong with food for kids.The steaks are perfect, wish you could add some more pepper mushroom sauce. Overall Its the best in Ackland St.

Great food and great service. Usually served by someone with an accent of some sorts, it gives a great atmosphere. I'm a picky eater and they tailored my meal for me on a busy Sunday afternoon. Great position on the top end of acland street and well worth the stroll down the street to get there. Their pides are great and their food is always hot.

This place is awesome, great food and the specials make it really cheap! The staff are always efficient and friendly and the ambience is great. We have been here hundreds of times, they are nice to our kids. Been going there for years and back there tonight!

I love this place! Cheap and great meals! The staff are good some days they can be alittle inattentive, they are mostly overseas tourists. Their daily meal specials are great, the Sunday $13 roast is yummy with a large serve! I also love the brekky green eggs and ham! yummo.

Been here a hundred times, will always come back. Food is great, it is cheap, the breakfast rocks and the beer is cheap. Its casual, open late and the staff are friendly and helpful. The specials are awesome.

I've been there plenty of times and can think of only one thing to say... "Stick to the specials". The steak, the parma all good choices because they make hundreds of them. I tried the seafood pasta and it was the worst pasta I have ever been served, you couldn't expect five star linguini with tender scallops but this was inedible. Otherwise, adequate service with decent busy atmosphere and huge portions, as long as you stick to the daily specials which usually come with a beer you can't be disappointed.

I'm still dreaming about this place. The food, unreal. I can't believe the mushroom sauce, fantastic, out of this world. Everything in this place screams, I want to go back.

This is THE best Cafe in St Kilda. Absolutely fantastic service, food, specials, ambience and value!! We went in on Friday 8/6/2007 and there was about 13 of us and there was no problems at all, we all fitted in well and the staff treated us like royalty.

This is the best cafe in St Kilda - no need to dress up or you can if you want. This place has the best food the best specials everyday of the week. Great owners, always happy to chat (if they are not busy of course!!!!). Young and vibrant team. I've been going thre now for 2 years and still loving it and the great drink specials too!!! I personally recommend this to anybody and everybody GOOD ON YOU TEAM AND LA ROACHE.
