Took my father here for lunch, based on the recommendations from this site. It lived up to and exceeded these reviews. The Tom-Yum soup gave me a mouth-gasm. Thumbs up to the lime prawn starter and beef with X.O. sauce main. Nice flavors, attentive service, good value. I recommend Kuala Lumpur to you.

I'll keep it simple, great food and great people. After years of going I haven't been disappointed yet!

Visited this place for dinner and all the 5-6 items we ordered from the menu were sufficiently flavored and tasted delicious even including the coconut rice.
Especially the duck dishes and spicy chicken.

We went for yum cha for lunch. The dumplings were gorgeous, the best I've ever had, full of flavour. Can't wait to go back again. Worth the money.

A group of 12 dined on a sat night sitting near the bar we were away from the main crowd. The place was 3/4 filled. The entrees tried included the prawn dumpling, duck curry puffs and san choi bao. All were liked, as the night progressed the service maintained a good standard the mains included the roast duck very good, the spicy lamb tender and tasty. Servings are all reasonably sized so go with a good appetite we byod but if you don't take your own theres the wine list is nearly all under 30 dollars.

We moved to the area a couple of months ago and discovered this little gem for Yum Cha and just love it. The Yum Cha is really good, particularly on a Saturday when you can A La Carte from a long list of selections. Sunday is fun too with the trolleys though you won't always get what you want from our experience.
Ambience is a bit on the ordinary side, but after all it is a fairly cheap establishment. I'd rather they stay that way and keep on providing the fresh food. Service is generally very good, very friendly and the friendlier you are to staff the more accommodating they are.
The salt and pepper cuttlefish at Yum Cha is delicious, the steamed dumplings are super and the vegetarian tofu skins are yum. I do recommend however not ever ordering the Singapore chilli calamari, it was truly awful (squid in a tomato sweet-sour sauce that was just too Kan-Tong). Their Singapore noodles are worth a mention, very nice and fresh.

First time here and really enjoyed the food. Easy to find - just look for the statue of the naked bottom out the front. Warm and cosy. Yum Cha on Sunday was the real deal with the trollies bringing around steamers full of goodies. If you dine ala carte, order the lime prawns and the duck curry puffs for entrees and you wont be disappointed. We will be returning.

As the previous reviewer alluded to, the yum cha is equal to or better than anything you'll get in the city and if you book there's no need to queue up at the door! The staff are always friendly and helpful and since the room is only small, the trolleys come by frequently. Stick with the steamed dumplings and you can't go wrong, I always like to request the bbq pork rice noodle too if it's not offered on the trolleys. If eating a la carte then try the lime prawns, they're great but eat in as they don't travel well for take away.

This is a very good suburban Malaysian restaurant at all times but the Yum Cha (Sat/Sun) is fantastic. Can't get enough of it and better than all the ones I've tried in the city. You must try the curry duck puffs (they've migrated to the evening menu as an entree due to popularity). BYO Wine only. Great service, very fresh produce.
