This place is great! Love the butter chicken and I'm always happy with whatever we decide to try on the night. Excellent value and one of the best Indian places in Melbourne.

Went on a saturday night and got takeaway - lamb rogan josh (with rice), naan and chicken tandoori for $26.50. Received all my change in 20cent pieces (from $30). The chicken tandoori was dry, and tasted not really very different from an old coles chook. Not what you'd expect from this chicken dish which is generally priced to reflect the time involved in marinading it properly. It was served with a lemon wedge and a small sort of cabbage side.

The naan was acceptable, the lamb rogan josh was good, though very mild for a 'medium'. The rice was just plain old long grain rice. Overall I'd say acceptable, but i wouldnt go out of my way to visit this place. You're obviously paying for the location rather than the food.

A good place to have your meal. The tandoori chicken is the best around Melbourne.

My suggestion, order the lot! The food is cheap and delicious and although the staff may struggle a bit, it's worth the wait. Not so glam, a little noisy at times, not a first date venue but great with a group.

I have been coming to this place for about 6 years and in the last year, it has improved alot. The waiting staff were always quite bad in the past but I've been twice in the last 2 weeks and the service has improved! The food is awesome. For exactly $20.00, we had tandoori chicken, a samosa, a curry and rice for two- Belly's full! We were in and out in under an hour! It can get a bit noisy later in the week as the sound travels a bit. I love this place. BYO anything. Highly Recommended!

In my opinion, the best value Indian restaurant in Melbourne. The food is very good and prices extremely low. The service is friendly, but low quality.

Excellent value with curries under $10. Great to bring a group so you can taste everything. Make sure you book!

Food is good and cheap but due to the crowd most of the time, the waiters miss the order and you feel like a lost child in a big crowd waiting for mama to find you.
