Party of 7 for dinner, Wednesday evening. We paid $80 each for a 3-course meal (not including drinks). Very disappointed with tiny portions served on giant plates at exorbitant prices. Kangaroo steaks were awful - overcooked, tough and gristly. Blunt dinner knives served to exacerbate the problem! Looked forward to the cheese platter but ended up with a only few shavings of cheese - barley enough to taste. Dessert seemed to be the best course. Roast peach was delicious. Beautiful setting but the food was a rip-off.

An excellent restaurant, Joseph's is not the cheapest place in town but is ideal for that special occasion. We went there for an anniversary dinner, and our 11 year old son was immensely impressed that he was treated as a real person and not an annoyance. The attentiveness of the staff, who were courteous without being servile, was top notch, as was the quality and presentation of the meals.

A highlight of the evening occurred when the wine we wanted, which is able to be purchased by the half-bottle, was only available in the full bottle and, therefore, at twice the price. The staff did not hesitate in offering the full bottle at the half-bottle price.

We had dinner and breakfast when we stayed at the Mansion for a getaway. The dinner was exquisite! What an experience. We loved it, the food was prepared just right and the tastes were just wonderful. Although it was expensive, it's worth the dining experience and would recommend it! The breakfast was not so different from other places, but was still delicious.

I went here with a group of 8 to celebrate my friend's birthday. We all ordered 3-course set lunch menu, the food size was small (for the guys) but the servings were just right for us girls. The scallops entree was the best one of three (there was a pork salad and also a pumpkin soup). My barramundi main was also good, even the fancy bangers & mash were well received by my friends. Their desserts were simply divine. $42 for a 3 course lunch is actually good value considering other place would charge that much for just a main.

This restaurant is so memorable! My chicken (which is usually dry or tasteless in other restaurants) was perfect. So it didn't matter that it was expensive. The restaurant space has a wonderful feel and you will be rewarded for your drive out to Werribee.

For lunch I shared a taste plate that was a culinary delight. Main I had a rack of lamb that was excellent but for the price I thought it was lacking a bit. Not what I expected for a restaurant with a hat.

Still highly recommended you go and check it out. Service was amazing, real professional wait staff.

Great restaurant, tried the tasting plate as a starter and all items were great. Service and ambience although not perfect was still great (possibly a little dark in the evening). Definitely worth a try.
