This was truly the worst dining experience I've ever had. The food was terrible. We had satay beef and szechuan chicken. Both were full of mushrooms and funghi. We were not told of these ingredients until they arrived on the plate, I have never had mushrooms in any satay beef chinese meals before, the satay flavour was also not the usual.
The rice was glutinous and tasteless. We tried to cancel our pre-dinner drink when it had not arrived halfway through our main meal. We were told this was not possible. We waited another five minutes before receiving it. At this stage all we wanted to do was get out of there. The service was non-existent. We thought that we were the only ones being picky until we heard a woman leave yelling out "rubbish" as she left the building.
The people in front of us were also disgusted and disappointed with their meals and the lack of service as well. I will not dine here again and would not recommend to anyone else.

Unbelievably bad. The food is inedible, being virtually tasteless. The calamari resembled industrial rubber and the san choi bao was composed almost entirely of onion, the only discernible flavour all night. The service is rude and unhelpful. The restaurant is designated into "eastern" tables with tea cups and chopsticks and "western" tables with crockery and wine glasses.
I have never been so tempted to walk out refusing to pay. Absolutely one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had, without a doubt. Will not be going back.

The Jarrah Room is a decent sized restaurant, however, is lacking in a couple of areas. Our group was first offered a table with couches, which, when done correctly would be fine. However, the couches and table were not in proportion, so when sitting down, the table is up to your chest. Then moved to a larger table, with normal chairs, some of which were on the verge of collapsing. And with the dirty walls, in a definite need for a paint job. The food was fairly average, and one dish did not even make it out. All in all, I doubt I will revisit.
