I wish I lived closer to this one but, unfortunately, I don't so I won't be going very often. Food was good, service was fast. The sushi was really great and the asparagus and beef off the specials board was good but could have used the beef to be sliced a little thinner.

We shared a sukiyaki and a yakisoba for main after having takoyaki, beef and asparagus and an entree sushi for the table for starters and both were yummy though, perhaps, the sukiyaki was a tad sweet. That wasn't bad though, at least not from my taste bud's point of view. Have been a second time now and the Takoyaki was still great as were all the other dishes we had that second time.

This place came recommended by someone for lunch but it's pretty good for dinner as well.

Very friendly, food punches above it's price and a decent range of sake at fair prices.

Comparing to the Chuji in the city, this place is less busy so you get better service, nice plates and the food quality is better although the price is slightly higher, about $1-2 more for each dish? But for the experience I am willing to pay a bit more. For those that drive, parking is also easier coz there are heaps of free parking right outside at night.
