Pretty good Indian food! Had to wait a while but was worth it in the end.

Went there on Monday night as its not always possible for me to go on weekends. Thought it shouldn't be the same as weekends but they were extremely busy and service was well done. I ordered LLB for drinks and happy to see the presentation and their hot chocolate was too good. Generally not all the indian restaurants are that great for coffees and drinks but only for food. I had amazing experience and happy to see all the joly faces around. Will be back defi.

Went there on a busy Sat night. Luckily we booked as the place was packed. Great food great Ambience. Love the new menu and specials list, very authentic will be back very soon. Oh and congrats on the 2010 best Indian Restaurant award you guys deserve it.

Didn't care so much for the Butter Chicken as it wasn't as rich and creamy as others I've had plus I found a few bone fragments which were not nice to chew on! Otherwise, the Lamb and Beef curries were delicious with just the right amount of spice. Very good service. Would happily eat here again but wouldn't order any chicken dishes.

Went out here on a week night and was a pretty good experience. Walk in and you know you are in a nice Indian restaurant. Also I noticed Indian people eating there as well, which is always a good sign!

I really enjoyed the food. We got 2 dishes one with a 1 chilli rating and another with 2 chilli's. Boy were they spicy! I love spicy food and usually they never make it as hot as it should be but this was really hot! In a good way of course.

The service was really good and although it is a bit more expensive then normal indian restaurants I think it is still really good value. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant.

I would like to thank the staff and more so the chefs at Indian Star restaurant in Moonee ponds Melbourne.

We have just recently moved to the area, and as most people would understand, we were a tad sceptical about getting indian food for dinner. We reviewed Indian Stars website and with great delight placed an order. We ordered up big hoping it was nice. With great delight I must say the food was fabulous like nothing I had tasted before and it was take-away. It was piping hot and fresh when we got home and all containers generously packed! My housemates have eaten indian before but I had never.

We got 3 large mains (fish, lamb and chicken), 2 large rice, 2 raita (dip), 4 serves of bread, 3 desserts. All for under 100 dollars! definite value! I had the Goa Fish Curry, it was a goer! yum yum. This has set the bar for my future indian dining experiences.

We will definitely be dining in very soon and will recommend Indian Star to everyone I know! we have also now considered this restaurant for a birthday party!

Great Management, friendly staff, great food, fresh and tasty. Try their banquets it has a great variety. We will be back. Thanks Indian Star.

Amazing night. Great food, great service and plenty on the plate with great tasting fresh produce. Not too sure about Sumit007 as there usually is forks and knives on the table? and not spoons. In any case a great place, keep it up.

We had a bad experience eating out here. Food was below average, No courtesy. We went on Saturday and the restaurant was nearly empty. The waitress was rude while taking our order. She kept insisting on us to buy more food and warned us for delay in service if we do not order now. Our table had No water, No Napkins and No spoons. When complained to the owner her reply was "we are here to make a profit".
