Slow service and overpriced drinks. Bar attendant slopped the beer over the bar and was less than welcoming in her manner.

Just went here for lunch with a whole load of work colleagues. No one had anything decent to say about their meal. Any pub that charges $20 for a burger and uses processed cheese slices deserves to go out of business. The risotto one guy had was so bad he nearly sent it back.

I had the calamari, which was rubbery and very adequate indeed. My colleague was of the same opinion. The guy next to me had a steak and "wouldn't have paid $25 for that". The parmas were average-sized and just a regular schnitzel probably covered with more processed cheese slices.

I can safely say I can add The Imperial to my list of 'pubs I'll never go to again'.
Also worth noting is that the prices on their website menu are slightly less than they actually charge.

Reasonable range of pub food, at mid-range prices. The burger and calamari dishes were fine, but the "steak" in the steak sandwich was disappointing. You can sit indoors or out on the street. The service was friendly and helpful at a weekend lunch when things were fairly quiet.
