Portions are a little small, but the food is not bad. Seating is a little unusual. This place is kind of average.

Food was below par for japanese food in Melb. Service was ok. Basically everything about this place was ok. I'm not planning to go back. There are better japanese places around.

The best thing about this restaurant is the surrounds: nicely lit with a very authentic Japanese decor which made me feel like I was in Kyushu again. Although the portions were a little small for the price tag, the food was very nicely presented and quite tasty. The service was ok. Overall: not extraordinary, but certainly makes for a good night out.
