This was our first time at this restaurant and we enjoyed it. It was really laid back and the host/hostess were quite friendly. Unfortunately after a couple of hours I was starting to get sick of the same music playing in the background but if you're involved in conversation it wasn't that bad. The food was hot (heat hot) with the perfect amount of spice if you like to get a bit of a zing without burning your mouth out. It did lack a bit of atmosphere but if you were in a group it would probably add to that. Overall, a pretty good place to go for some really nice Indian food. We'd go back.

I'm all for friendly service but this was too much! Firstly, the young, sickeningly sweet waiter attempted to force us into ordering food we did not want, we had to tell him more than twice that we Did not want anything more off the menu.

Secondly, it appeared as though this young waiter believed we had come there to 'chat' rather than have dinner, he was constantly asking questions and interrupting our conversation, at one point I thought he was going to pull up a chair and share our food! It was extremely rude.

Last but not least the prices were rather high compared to other Indian restaurants of the same standard. On the up-side, I must say the food was quite nice, however, we could hardly enjoy it due to our 'not invited dinner guest'!

I went to Himalayas recently and was really surprised by how great the food was and how friendly the staff were! The new chef is brilliant and compared to the other indian restaurant in fairfield I was truly blown away by their tasty dishes.
Ask for Uncar to serve you, he's a classic! Well done guys!

We used to come here a fair bit until we kept finding bits in our food. On our last occasion, my wife found a piece of steel wool in her curry. We would not return.

We were here for a group function on a Friday night. Firstly, the restaurant is not cozy. It was a cold night, and was quite cold inside. The food was reasonably good. Lamb Vindaloo was delicious and spicy. Garlic nan was a little chewy and palak paneer was a watery slush. The dishes the others ordered seemed to be good. No complimentary papadams were given before ordering, and no chutneys were given with the samosas. Overall, the restaurant is quite expensive compared to other, better, Indian restaurants. The Indian waiter was fantastic. Worth trying.

A group of friends and I head here approximately once every two months for our dose of delicious Indian Food. The food is always exceptional quality and is served with efficiency and a smile! Over the two years I have been going to this restaurant, I have had nothing but praise. I would recommend it to all Indian Food Lovers!
