Since eating at high tech 3 months ago it is now by far my favourite place to get an amazing tasting, healthy meal. Love your work guys-yellow curry is the best!

After experiencing this eatery for the first time and then reading other peoples comments and ratings I find it really hard to believe! The burritos were awful! I'm being nice by not rating them any lower although I probably should. Tried to order ahead on the phone but it was engaged the whole time (15 minutes or so).

Then when we get there and ask what the problem was with the phone, they said they were too busy to answer it. That's fair enough (I guess?) but the phone was engaged it wasn't ringing out! One can only assume they placed the receiver off the hook. Both the Vegetarian burritos we ordered were soggy and flavourless, Yuck! Will not be going here again. Epic fail.

I'm so sorry that your first visit to High Tech was a disappointment. We have a huge range of very happy vegetarian customers, and our customer base is fastly growing since we opened up about a year ago. Please refer to the many positive reviews we have on the web.

We actually have been dealing with keeping up the pace recently, due to the rising popularity. This was also the reason personnel might sometimes not have been able to answer the phone in time or by accident, left it engaged.

The moment you visited might have been an unlucky moment, and I really hope you would like to give it another try. Please print out this response and we give you and your partner a choice of a free vegetarian burrito.

I've been to High Tech Burrito now twice and will definitely be back. Having travelled most of Latin America and Mexico, this is definitely authentic and fresh! Value for money is what you get along with some of the best customer service I've ever seen. The owner Gary serves your food with a smile and even gives some helpful suggestions when ordering as there is such a great selection. Compared to all other Mexican food I've had in Australia, this is the freshest and had options for my wife who is vegan.

This is by far the best and most authentic representation of Cali-mexican food in Australia. It is fresh and beautifully prepared. Try the Cabo burrito with Chicken on Pork. It's my favourite!

Excellent. The best burrito's in Melbourne hands down. They'll even tailor a burrito to, however, you like (provided they have the ingredients). Plenty of options for vegetarians as well (for a change). Highly recommend.

I cannot say much about this place other than that the food was well above the average with fresh ingredients and the ambience was something between a fast food and a take away restaurant. The best part was the friendly staff.

Fantastic! Finally real californian-style burritos in Melbourne. These are large, very fresh and extremely tasty. You won't find a better burrito or taco in Melbourne, or maybe even Australia. Well worth the trip to Hawthorn. I'll be back soon!

Fantastic Burrito's! The ingredients are fresh and fantastic. Our friend visiting from California could not get enough of High Tech Burrito! The staff are fantastic too! Highly Recommended!

Without a doubt the best burrito's available in Melbourne, anyone who has been fortunate enough to visit California and have dined on burrito's there, will not be disappointed. This is the real deal! The ingredients are fresh, portions are large, and care in preparation is superb. I cannot wait to go back.
