Great food, service and good atmosphere. Average cost for the area, but pricey for an overall meal. Expect about $30 per person minimum for a full meal with drinks. Was pleased with food. Risotto was nice. Good portion size. Service was attentive.

Like most other resturants in Melbourne and Sydney it's all about making a quick buck with no idea about cooking a good meal. Went there with a group of 7 ordered Garlic bread, Bucshetta and salt pepper calamari the Garlic bread was average the bucshetta look like crackers with tomato paste and a sprinkle of cheese and the calamari was awfull, must admit the mains weren't bad.

I'm not sure why vendors think they can get away with terrible food and service if the ambience is fantastic.

We were enticed by the offer of food so good that you could have your money back if you weren't satisfied. The food was below average and the prices were disproportionately high.

Two of my friends ordered the kangaroo, which was $28.50. It was microscopic when it came, it was about 80-100g with a few tiny potatoes. I ordered the lamb shank for $24.50, which turned out to be full of fat and a tiny portion (this is considering that I am a tiny eater and usually never finish the remaining 20% of my food whenever I'm eating out).

When we complained (politely), they tried to get rid of us as quickly as possible. They tried to overcharge us with a 'service charge', which we found out (after We did the asking) that it was only applicable if you pay by credit card. All this definitely smacked of dishonesty.

Came here not knowing what to expect (couldn't get into the restaurant we wanted that night) and ended up having the nicest steak of my life. Having never had dry aged steak before I thought why not and decided to shell out the extra $10 for the aged meat. Wow. Once you eat meat like this there is no going back. Just with the standard seasoning it was amazing, no sauces needed (just as well as the peppercorn sauce that I ordered as a side was a bit to creamy/mayonnaise-like for my liking).

Service here was attentive and friendly, and the venue itself is quite nice.
If you're in the market for a steak then I absolutely recommend trying this place, just make sure you try the aged meat!

The food was very good. I ordered eye fillet and Greek Salad. The eye fillet was not in a big size but I got so full at the end. The Greek salad was average but the chips and eye fillet were so great that I was thinking going back again while I only just had two bites of it. The waiters there were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely go back next time.

Went to Melbourne for a shopping filled weekend. Strolled past this alleyway one night. Had the hardest time deciding which restaurant to have dinner at. I'm so glad we chose Grill Steak Seafood. Was the best meal we had in Melbourne. Salt and Pepper Squid was to die for! Looking forward to returning here on our next trip. Definitely recommend you try this place!

This restaurant serves the best eye fillet I have yet eaten, tiramisu is wonderful, the owner is extremely approachable and the wine list is being updated with more local wines. I will return.
