Grande Forno is a family owned and run business. Their staff are very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. Their decor might be a little out of date but the food is lovely, inexpensive and caters for many tastes.

We lived near Grande Forno for a few years and it was our regular. We loved it! Quick, friendly, tasty. It's all good. We've moved away, now, but every now and again I make my husband drive to collect takeout from there. It's So Good!
MWAH - miss having them around the corner.

I thought Grand Forno needed an updated review. The pizzas are amazing. Once you have tried, no others can compare. I moved around the corner 6 months ago and can honestly say it's the best pizza I've ever had. I haven't tried the pasta yet, but if the pizza is anything to go by, I'm sure the pasta is just as good. The decor is a bit daggy, but the friendliness of the staff and great pizza make up for it. Only real problem is no home delivery.

I've visited Grande Forno several times, now, and have left every time fully satisfied and no doubt wearing a contented grin. The moment I walk through the door I'm instantly put at ease by the relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. This, however, -isn't- actually why I keep going back.

The answer to that lies in the food: the pasta is fantastic, but the thing that really stood out to me is just how amazing their pizzas are. In all the pizza restaurants I tried, I'd never found a pizza that really blew me away... until I went to Grande Forno.

Try the Madonnas; you won't be disappointed.

A nice, comforting restaurant. The modern music somewhat clashes with the mediterranean feel although it is quietly played so no harm is done. The pizza is top class and just one thing, the cheescake comes with one third of a sundae. I really enjoyed my stay at your humble restaurant and what is the name of that short Italian man with the beard and the moustache? He was very nice and I called him 'Mario', is his name Mario? if it is, please email memandyh543@hotmail.com and tell me because the name Mario really suits him.

Thank you for the great service, it was thoroughly enjoyable. One pointer though is that we asked three times for our second jug of water, and our fourth and fifth pizzas (margarita and mexicana - yummmyyyyy - ) took a while too, and Mario must have forgotten. Apart from that, service was brilliant and I would not at all hesitate in recommending the Grande Forno Bistro to anyone, and also, you might see me there again. I went tonight with my big family. Goodbye..thankyou for your pizza. I will finish off with a quote, "When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore." and truly it is.
