First time here and found it very enjoyable. A very busy Saturday night but the food came out very promptly We had a banquet and were able to substitute a dish. Everything was very fresh and flavousome.
Only problem not a major one being that light beer is charged at the same price as heavy should cost less and it would promote responsible drinking.

Have been going to this restaurant since it opened and always have enjoyed it but lately its successes could be its downfall. Went on a Saturday night and ended up waiting one and a half hours to be served first course of the banquet, this was after repeatedly asking how our meals we coming along. Unfortunately, it spoiled an other wise good meal.

I have been to many thai restaurants all over Melbourne both expensive and inexpensive and this is the best food I have experienced. The food is amazing and it is great value for money. The beef Thai chilli dish is one of my favourites. Fresh Chilli is a diamond in the rough. Thank you.

My husband and I celebrated a romantic birthday dinner at Fresh Chilli Thai Restaurant this year. After a long day at work it was really nice to relax in the serene surroundings with a lovely glass of Savignon Blanc and the most delicious Thai food I have tasted in a very long while. My absolute favourite is the Red Duck Curry. We were very pleased with the quality, freshness, aromatics and flavours of the dishes we ordered. The service was very attentive and we have been recommending Fresh Chilli Thai Restaurant to all our friends and colleagues. We will be sure to visit again soon!

This restaurant is a breath of fresh air to Laverton. The food and service, whether it be dine in or take away has always been fantastic. Green Chicken Curry, Masaman Beef and Chicken Cashew are a few favourites. We look forward to coming back again and again.

After trying this restaurant I found that the curry had no taste and that the stir fry very like chinese not impressed.

Sorry for service you got on the nite but as we promise our best service and food will be our first target and we will not let the food served without passing our chef allowance. As in our area there are a lot of Thai restaurants around and therefore please come to us and we will change your bad experience with Thai food to a wonderful nite out.

Sorry for anyone who got the bad experience with Thai food. But for me Fresh Chilli Thai restaurant is incredible both in food and service. Since the first day until now they still the best.

This restaurant has a great decor and fantastic service, but unfortunately falls short on the authenticity of the Thai food. We ordered a Pla Rad Prik (Thai Style Fish in a Chilli Sauce) for take-away which came out as a fish dish with soy sauce based gravy/soup which was quite surprising. We felt somehow cheated as you can't really tell if you get what you order until you get home and open the container. Also they charged us $18.90 although it was written $16.90 in the takeaway menu. Thankfully, it tasted quite okay, although it was definitely a wrong dish.

In terms of value, unfortunately it still worth to go to Lygon Street or the CBD for cheaper Thai food with blazingly hot and authentic taste. However I hope that the management would read and consider this review as more and more people who are Thai-savvy are moving into this area and I wish sincerely that they would improve the quality of the food.

A great place for Thai if you're stuck all the way out in Laverton. the Tom Kha is great, the curries are delicious, and the stir fries are good as well. Try the red duck curry or the masaman. The pad thai is only ok, but the other noodle dishes are great.
