    The good news first. The best thing about this restaurant was the service. Despite the fact that I went in during off-peak hours (just a coincidence) I still think the service was excellent. The staff was courteous and friendly and gave off a pleasant family ambience (as did the restaurant itself).

    The food was absolutely spectacular in terms of freshness and quality. Even though I have had exciting and exotic Indian dishes, the freshness and quality of the food served here stood out. I recall on 1 occasion having to order take away instead of enjoying the hot food in the restaurant itself and I can tell you this - even when cold, the freshness was still quite apparent.

    I had the rice, chicken curry, papadams and nan. The nan and rice was light and fluffy, the curry spicy but not to the extent of having to run my mouth under cold water and the papadams crisp and not too oily or burnt. The only issue I had, being a student, the cost was a bit pricy but considering the quality and service I cannot complain. So if you're looking eat-in at a nice, cosy, family restaurant or if you're just going off to work or coming home from school and want to give your life a little twist, drop into this great little restaurant on Commercial road, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed.
