I was pretty shocked to see the reviews below! I went there on a Thursday night, not a busy night and found the food and service to be fantastic! I could not fault the freshness or flavour of the seafood we had. We also had the platter and were provided with finger bowls and a bowl for discarded shells. I suppose someone there must have spotted these other reviews and corrected their errors! I could only highly recommend the place and intend to go back again.

Revolting. Overcooked rubbery dirty tasting seafood. They grilled Moreton Bay Bugs upside down. Sneery Maitre D' pouncing about as if the place were packed (we were the only ones there) and for two mains and two softdrinks we paid $120. Never again. Oh and it is too cold in there.

An absolute horror, service was terrible, should not have to wait 2 hours for entree to arrive, mains was cold, serve was small. Glorified menu, simple fish and chips was worst than my local take aways. Will never go back and determine to tell all my friends and associates to not even think about it. The only good thing about the place is the location. Stay away.

Service was slow. All meals came out at different times and some didn't come at all. This was on a quiet night. I think the staff should be replaced or taught the finer points of hospitality. For example, customers shouldn't have to try to gain the attention of an employee in order to get a drink. You are basically paying for the location of this restaurant. It was fortunate that we had a members card which gave us a 10% discount.

This place has fantasic food. Almost everything my partner and I had was excellent. The ambience was ok but nothing special. The screens that look into the kitchen was a nice touch, but could be better placed. Love the idea though.
Service is where this place fell apart. We got our first drinks quickly but after that it took 30minutes to get out menu and the place was not what I would call busy. After we finally got our order the waiter needed to bring us plates which took another 5 minutes so out food was getting cold. After asking twice for a bowl to discard shells in twice it finally arrived although the meal was almost over.
Value was good I only gave it a poor rating as a 10% surcharge applies on weekends and isn't exactly pointed out to you. Overall I found the food great and everything else lacking. Will go somewhere next time.

This has got to be the best seafood restaurant in Melbourne. Really impressive and the rotisserie fish is to die for. Really nice looking restaurant and they use plasma screens with cameras in the kitchen. Service is excellent and again, the seafood is just brilliant. Really clever menu.
