Was looking forward to dinner with friends Saturday night, however, left with mixed feelings mainly due to the service. Having read others reviews regarding the 'on-selling' staff practice, maybe I was a little wary, so happy to order a round of beers as well as a jug of tap water. Beers came 10 minutes later and asked for water again. Five minutes later we asked a third waiter for water to be told they don't have any jugs left so were waiting for one for us. We grabbed one from the table next to us as a couple had left 10 minutes ago and said 'here you go, use this'.

We ordered some naan, papadams and dips for entrees and five mains, rice, and more naan for mains. Problem everything came out at ones so defeated the purpose of entree. Food was Ok though tastes blended together too much (which may have been our faults). Needed to order more rice, naan and another two mains to satisfy our hunger and two guys ordered desserts despite the owner/manager encouraging us all to all order.

Having worked in hospitality in the past I believe the ethos of waiting staff should never return to the table empty handed. Luckily we had a spare place at our table as this allowed us to stack plates, baskets, empty bottles etc for the staff to collect a long time later than they should have!

Overall a mixed experience so with plenty of restaurant options around won't be coming back. If good service happy to leave a tip, asked for the change this night and given some pretty strange looks when they complied.

I got take-away from Everest and while the restaurant was empty, I found that the food was quite nice and the staff were very helpful. Will definitely be going back to eat in.

The food was delicious. I planned a Dinner with my mum and we were absolutely satisfied and happy with Everest. We had veg.platter, paneer kadhai wala with Naan bread which absolutely made our evening. The service was impressive too.

Pushy service. Below average for taste & presentation. Expensive. "Selection of chutneys & popodums" was a tiny dip of prefab sweet/sour sauce + same of yoghurt/mint & overpriced. Food was overpriced and up-sell was attempted at every turn. In the end we didn't linger and left.

The food was ok, but nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of booking a group for a birthday celebration. Service became pushy to the point that if we didn't have everything organised, we would have walked away. People were meeting in the wine bar next door, also owned by Everest, and the senior staff kept pushing menus into our hands, encouraging people to order, with particular emphasis on the most expensive items.

I copped the brunt of it as, for some reason, he had latched onto me, and became frustrated when I didn't want to push people to begin ordering. It wasn't even like there was that many of us, less than 10. And we got the impression they wanted us to spend as much money as possible. Very disappointing. Annoying service. We will never come here again.

First time at this restaurant. Service was great - extras requested were catered for with a smile. Entrees were really good but the mains were a tad small for the price and very sauce with not so much substance. Tasty food all up though. Would go back again.

We've eaten here a few times over the past few years and had take-away from here too. The take away we have found to be consistently very good. When we've dined in we have always enjoyed our meals too.

Returned to this restaurant last night after not having been there for a couple of years. The food was terrible we were really disappointed. The tandoori was precooked and the korma was beyond description of what a trye korma should be.

Nice paneer dishes in the vegetarian options menu. The food here is nice, surroundings are nice. Although, it is quite expensive, hence, I believe it is not value for money. The vegie options are great.

Such great food! Every item we ordered was absolutely divine, the tandoori mushrooms were my favourite. Great vegetarian selection and great service, our waiter was absolutely charming and very attentive with keeping our water full. Lovely atmosphere too. A bit pricier than your usual cheap indian joint, but worth it.
