Wonderful food and service. Banquet was excellent, good quality and generous. The entertainment was too loud for our liking, calling a complete halt to our conversation until it was over (apparently on Friday/Saturday evenings).

Very disappointed, very very average. They do not know how to cook seafood or rice. Dips were okay. Much better middle eastern elsewhere. Wall murals are lovely and it looks right, but service is a bit rough and the food just not good enough. The cocktail I had was a ghastly concoction. It was undrinkable, something feast, can,t remember but watch out! Not at all recommended.

Just went to this restaurant and have to say the whole experience is excellent and have to admit the service, dinning, food, decor beats any other middle eastern in Melbourne and I have been to all, excellent service - friendly as well as family friendly just really happy!

Love this place! We go about 4 times a year and the food is consistently lovely and the service is great. The only time we had less than perfect service, the owner came over to sincerely apologise and he gave us a discount for our trouble. That's how you keep customers coming back. Thank you, Dunyazad!

This place has been around for what seems like a lifetime. I have never left there less that delighted. Food, service are both tops, you are made to feel like a personal guest in a Lebanese family's home. Value for money is as good as you can get. You really can't go past the banquet.

I am an actor I had the time of my life at Dunyazad and it was word of mouth that got me there and yes will be back there, the food was amazing the service was seven star I recently came back from L.A and have been to many good restaurants with my acting career and all over the world thank you Dunyazad for an unforgettable experience highly recommend it.

Fantastic value! Ate here in May 09 with our two young kids. Had basic banquet at $38 each for adults, $17 each for kids. Despite being half price for the kids, were given four full serves of everything. Delicious Lebanese food, (dips and bread, appetisers, meats, beautiful desserts) with quality ingredients, warm and friendly atmosphere. I can understand why this place is so popular and has lasted for so many years. Highly recommended.

Bonus for parents of very young children, training seats available in the toilets, a rare find and very welcome to parents of three and four year olds.

I was yearning for a good old fashioned Lebanese meal. I was sadly disappointed. Returned a 2nd time at the request of friends. Same result. The place is a little run down. The service poor and interested. The food over priced for what it was. I recall the senior staff some years ago suggesting when lobbying for the area to be fully licensed (he failed) that BYO Restaurants are 2nd rate. I think I know why he had that view.

We love Lebanese food and heard all the good reviews but was greatly disappointed. The food was bland and not the freshest. The waiter took down the wrong order and it arrived late. We had another appointment after dinner, but the waiter insisted we wait for the belly dancer.

Haven't been here for ages, but had a seafood banquet last night, wonderful as I remember. Plenty of food, all obviously freshly prepared, and the service was great despite the restaurant being packed.
