To describe this as a "restaurant" is like calling McDonald's a "gourmand fine dining experience" (perhaps, some wouldn't know the difference, however). At best, a "road-side sandwich bar" would be more accurate.

A wide selection of day-old sandwiches and caffé ordinairé, with a limited range of other drinks, their only draw card is a generous range of cakes, many of which were actually edible (you can be sure they're not made in-house).

Situated on the cold, dark, dead side of bridge road, just near the Epworth Hospital, if you sit near the entry, you can enjoy the fresh breezes of car exhaust. The amazing part is how many years they have managed to remain in business, preying only on passing trade, but without any decent parking.
