My first time at De Los Santos, although I have walked past it many times over the years. Not many dining on a Wednesday night and the place looks a bit shabby and devoid of characetr, even though it is a really lovely place which have so much potential.

Ordered a very nice bottle of Pinot Grigio from the Mornington Peninsula, and a selection of Tapas, which was tasty. Service was friendly and in keeping with the atmosphere of the place.

Nice for a weeknight dinner but I don't think it would fit the bill for the big night out.

I found the waitress to be rude and even possibly psychotic, she got so upset over an unopened mussel that I complained about. Stay away from this restaurant, there are better ones in Brunswick Street.

After reading many peoples reviews on this place me and my partner visited for a Monday night dinner and going on the recommendations tasted the vegetarian paella and some tapas.

The vegetarian paella was excellent and the serving for 1 was more than enough for both of us when combined with the tapas and desert. We ordered the prawns and moorish chicken skewers for tapas and the prawns were incredible. They were marinated in sherry which isn't something I've had before and I really want the recipe. It didn't look much coming out, sort of a bowl with prawns somewhere in a soup but the taste definitely overcame its looks. For desert we had the dark chocolate flan and the custard filled doughnuts which finished the meal well.

We left feeling very satisfied and would definitely come back for more, the service was a little abrupt but certainly not rude, the main problem was not being hungry enough to try more tapas that I wanted to try.

Cosy atmosphere. Staff service was a bit cold and robotic, could be a bit more friendly and inviting. Nice variety of Tapas. Excellent croquettes (spinach/cheese), just like the mouth watering ones I had in Madrid, fresh tender calamari, chorizo and chickpea salad was gorgeous but were let down with the meatballs, very very bland. Wouldn't go back in a hurry, but wouldn't rule it out as good value for money and good for small groups as able to share a good variety of tapas.

One of my favourite Spanish restaurants in Melbourne. Always vibrant and the service is good, although it can be a bit slow when it gets busy. The tapas are great to share and are really good value, they go very nicely with a jug of sangria. You have to try the churros for dessert, one serve is plenty for 2 people to share.

RAW chicken...TWICE!!! We ordered the Pinchos from the tapas menu, chicken was raw. We sent it back, it came back still raw!

Seafood paella was dry and mussels hadn't even been de-bearded. Waitress then insulted my intelligence and claimed that in this dish the beards were meant to be left in! Seafood wasn't fresh and wasn't cooked with the rice, was cooked seperately then added later.

Lazy chef! Waste of $100 and my saturday night. STAY AWAY!!!!

Nice and cosy place, but very busy. We tried chicken (delicious) and paella (to be honest, nothing special). Great sangria! Good food but very poor variety.

I was happy with the tapas and even the sides were great! A let down on the Paella (we had the chicken/lamb/chorizo) as it was rather dry. Unfortunately, we had the Paella at Bolero's in Warrandyte a month ago and this didn't match up. I'd come again, but not for the Paella.

Worst Paella I have ever had including unopened shellfish. Only one of the entrees was nice. Dessert was quite good.

The vegetarian paella was sensational and one serve is certainly enough for two. If you order the paella for two the price is double but the portion is only about a third larger than the one serve size. The service was very friendly and efficient. The dessert (custard filled doughnuts $10) were delectable.
