The food is great especially seafood dishes. I went with a group of 10 people and everyone was impressed with food and service. Mussels and brudet were both outstanding and portions were quite generous. It is one of the best restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, I live in Sydney and cannot go there often, but I will make sure to visit it whenever I am in Melbourne.

It was a pleasure to dine at Dalmatino. Delicious and most authentic Croatian food. Service was relaxed and friendly, and with the true Croatian attitude of looking after a guest. It's definitely a 5-star restaurant, but without the starchy atmosphere and snooty attitude that you can find at many other establishments.

Try the 'Crni Rizot' (black risotto of cuttlefish cooked in it's own ink) and 'Bruzet' (Dalmatian fish stew with polenta). The Bruzet is best eaten with fresh bread. The Croatian style hot chocolate is an absolute must. It's thick and rich and comes in may flavors. I chose coconut and had it as a dessert. Portions are quite substantial and nobody was left hungry. The only criticism is that some steak eaters at our table commented that some green vegetables should have been included with the dish. The wine list is extensive.

A great place to experience Croatian hospitality in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We'll be back soon.
