We purchased a Spreets voucher for $29 that promised our choice of two entrees, two mains and two glasses of wine. When we called for reservations, we were told that the restaurant was fully booked until 8:30 pm, unless we got there at 5 pm instead. So we arrived at 5 pm, and noticed that not one other table was occupied by the time we departed at 5:45 pm.

The waitress apologized immediately upon seating us and accepting the voucher, because she said there have been misunderstandings between the restaurant and the voucher issuers. She said we were not entitled to choose two entrees at all, rather we had to share two stale pappadums with two tiny dips. No choice of entree and no second entree would be allowed under the voucher. And for the mains, any special dish or lamb shanks or fish dish would incur an extra charge.

We ordered chicken tikka masala and a paneer dish both were small but tasty. The naan bread was undercooked and doughy. Normally I love naan, but this was inedible. I was disappointed in the misrepresentation of service and the overall quality of the dinner experience.

Food was below average as it was very spicy even after ordering mild, the curry were too oily and creamy, waiting staff was good, and ambience was not bad either, but food is the main thing which was bad, so will never go to this restaurant, above all expensive.

We got a spreets voucher to go here. Supposedly an "award-winning three-course royal Indian feast, plus wine, for just $49 ($139 value)!". This was for two people.

First course was one papadum each. The second course was one veg samosa and one small piece of chicken tikka each. And the third course was one main, rice and naan each. The wine was one bottle of Heart of Hearts Semillon Sauvignon Blanc, which is $5.00 a bottle on deals direct. The normal price of the royal feast is $27.50 per person. So hardly $139 value, not even close. Very misleading!

The papadums were small and very oily. The samosas were pasty. The chicken tikka was undercooked. The main courses were tasteless, watery and the chicken still had cartilage attached. All the portion sizes were small. Very disappointing, never again!

The food was very good, especially the butter chicken, the lamb chops and the calamari pakoras. Service was pretty good and there was a Bollywood movie playing that was entertaining. We ordered the large serve of rice between 4 and it was just enough. Parking nearby was hard to find. Breads were delicious!

I love Indian food and have tried several, this rates as one of the best. The portions may not be huge but they are wonderfully tasty. A big Plus for me and Indian food is when the sauces do separate when cooling down, as in a big layer of oil...these don't. The dishes are clean and tasty.

Very expensive for an Indian restaurant with very small servings. Went for lunch and waited an hour for food to be served despite no other customers at time. Not rushing back there in a hurry.

Great little Indian restaurant, service was fantastic and food was very good, especially the selection of breads. Interior is very cozy, its a pity you have to walk through the kitchen to use the bathroom facilities!

Most enjoyable to dine here, although just a little expensive. Had trouble understanding the accent of one of the waitresses, however, the service she provided to the table was excellent.

A good effort! An intimate setting oozing warmth & charm. Attentive, polite and hospitable staff. Candles and joyful decorations help to make the whole dining experience pleasureable in a loving Indian way and the Shiva artwork on the wall a must see - beautiful! A place we keep going back to for that Indian 'fix' and were never disappointed.
