Swimmer crab dumplings, Peking duck, stuffed garfish, Sichuan eggplant, all recommended, but you must try Mother's steamed fish. I have always found the service very attentive, so I am puzzled by others experiences. I agree that the tables at the back near the cellar are a bit cramped. A favourite local. $3.30 corkage per bottle, my favourite BYO, though minimal markups on an excellent wine list.

Food was superb. Seated at the back beside the kitchen and extraordinarily noisy staff gave an ambience of zero. Staff were appalling - unfriendly, unhelpful, and clumsy. Never again, I'm afraid... very poor value for money. Which is a pity, because the food was delightful but dining is more than just food.

Food is not that great, it is ok. The ambience is superb, the service provided by Justin is great but the others need to improve their English and service skills. The food is expensive for what it is.
