Food not that great in quality for the price paid. Chips with aioli sauce ($7), the chips were hard and the sauce not that nice. Scallops, entree sized ($18), 3 scallops in some sauce, nice taste, but meagre portions.

More importantly, there was no soap in the toilets. I have only come across only one pub (in many) in Melbourne, where this was the case, but a restaurant in Bridge Road, Richmond? Shame!

We went to Chimmys for dinner on a Saturday night with a party of 4. We waited over 90 minutes for our entrees for which we had to ask about twice! No bread was brought to the table or any explanation for the delay. We eventually got our food which was thankfully very good. Communication from waitress and senior staff extremely poor.

The best coffee in Bridge Road when prepared properly, but can be disastrous (or incorrect) when busy - generally best to avoid when crowded.

Excellent pastries and sandwiches made on premises.
