Been there several times over the years as we live in C'sea Hts. Love the live bands they have, that's the only time we'll go. We have kids and often used the kids room but the "frozen pizzas" that were served with awful chips (how do you stuff up chips?) and all the rest. I've spoken to several mums at both schools and kinders in the area, all have said the same thing, it's boycotted. We travel several km's to go elsewhere now as it's just not worth it, we don't enjoy it there and have been disappointed too many times.

Like a number of reviewers, I have been disappointed in the past. Went there for lunch this week and was pleasantly surprised. We both had Portuguese Chicken with scallops. Really delicious. Hope the place doesn't go back to its old ways.

The food is disgusting, and way overpriced. The place smells really bad, oily. They mucked up my order. The service is extremely bad. Kids playground was filthy, with sweet sticky drinks pooled inside the play equipment, and the machines where you have to pay money, took your money an you didn't get a go. Will never ever go back, and would not recommend.

Large decent sized meals, all the staff were very friendly and smiling, the service was quick, huge improvements have been made since I last visited and I will be going back very soon for sure. Great value for your money.

We have visited this hotel a few times since it opened. Each time we go we pray that they have improved the food as they have a great kids play area. However, our last visit (one month ago) was a huge disappointment. The first thing you notice when walking in is the smell of oil from their deep fryers (very off putting). However, the accompanying chips were dreadful and the side salad had clearly been sitting out for a few hours as the sliced cucumber was all dry. We had no problems with the service. However, generally the place is looking in need of a good clean/refurbishment. This last visit was the final straw and we won't be going back until there is something done about the food.

Sports bar is a dump. No bar staff when I go to get a drink. They are working in the tab and you may wait 5 minutes to get a drink when it's not busy. Meals are carried from the other end of the hotel on a trolley so they are cold when it gets there and they mess the orders up all the time. The menu is poor and way over priced for a bar menu.

For years we locals have waited for this pub to arrive, and its been a disappointment every time I have been. The food is average at best, the staff just so so and every time it is always a stuff up. I won't even comment on the ridiculous shape of the place. I will never set foot in the place again, an absolute shambles. I live five minutes from the place so it is extremely disappointing that I must go elsewhere. p.s. I am in a good mood writing this.

Friday night fantastic for kids - playground, clown who does face painting, balloons, etc. Yummy chicken parma. Staff mucked up our reservation for a large group, but fixed it up with no stress, and food service was excellent!

Great new Club Fridays! Best entertainment! Heard it got new Management!!! Made a massive change.... New chef has been a great improvement. They have so much going on there? Just seen the Hoodoo Gurus to a packed room and now they have Shannon Nolls, Vanessa Amorosi, the Angels and Thirsty Merc! BANDS ARE BACK!!! And back in a big way at Chelsea Heights!

There wasn't many vegetarian options on offer so I decided on the pizza without cheese - they put cheese on it and so had to throw it away. Unfortunately it was the last pizza base so my choices were even more limited.

The waitress was very apologetic and commented that the kitchen staff was substandard. We decided on a vegie foccacia which was dry and bland. By the time it arrived, the rest of my table had finished eating. Possibly the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever had to endure sitting on. Improvements needed all round. Will not return.
