One of the worst restaurants I have been to in Melbourne. Food was average and service was terrible, the waiter got the order wrong because English was not their first language but got angry and rude with us then when we questioned where our food was. When we did question him about a portion of wedges we ordered with our mains, he asked did we order them, answered Yes which he replied well if you ordered it then it will come. Asked him to double check and he said no it was not on our order.

So then we got our wedges when we were nearly finished our meal. He did not come near us for the rest of the meal, another waitress had to get our drinks and dessert. I also asked for a side portion of Garlic butter as it is on the menu with other meals but was informed that the Chef's do not like doing that, or changing the order's, bit ridiculous that they won't do it because the Chef doesn't like to change the menu and on their website they say the chef isn't pretentious.

All in all very bad, over priced experience, a lot better places on Chapel, and anywhere in Melbourne.

As a tourist to Melbourne, I felt that Caffe Sienna was unmistakably a diamond in the rough compared to a few other choices we had leading up the the ristorante, the atmosphere looked vibrant and welcoming. We were surprised they were so busy at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon so we thought this was a good sign.

The food looked appetizing. Everyone was eyeing other people's plates to see what great food was on offer and they sure didn't disappoint! Only let down was the young staff who just didn't have a clue how to order or remember about patrons.

I think the food quality was okay, as I was more impressed by the generous serving size. I had the steak, it came with a massive serving of fries (which I did not expect), and for the price we paid, the value for money was pretty good. Unlike some of the fancier restaurants in South Yarra, you sometimes end up paying way too much just for just a small increments in quality.

The service we had was good! The waitress we had was very polite and attentive. Overall, I enjoyed the dining experience at Sienna.

It's been a few days since I went to Cafe Sienna and I can't even remember what I ordered. I remember the food ok but not fantastic, but it was overwhelmed by the appalling atmosphere. The venue was so noisy that we couldn't hold even the barest hint of conversation. We were served by a horrendously staff which made me feel sick every time he came to serve us. If you must employ this staff, make sure they keep them hidden!

In all, it was an experience I won't forget, but not in a good way. I won't be going back.

Best Thickshake ever. They don't add any milk just ice-cream and you need the spoon as it's just too thick to suck through the straw. My mate saw it and immediately ordered one for himself. Very filling though couldn't eat much else. The Moroccan Lamb pizza was spot on. Couldn't see any cheese on the pizza (a good thing for me) and it still tasted amazing. It was perfect sunny Saturday afternoon in South Yarra which probably helped with the experience.

Used to eat here years ago and stopped here on a recent visit to see friends. Out shopping with a girlfriend and all we felt like was a simple, casual lunch. Calzone was very tasty! Coffee great! But most of all the service were spot on. Think it was the owners on that day as their attention to customers was awesome. So pleased I stopped by again and will return again.

Food is consistent here. Although the chef has changed over the years, the menu hasn't. Each chef brings his own interpretation to the dishes, but you pretty much know what you'll get. Staff are usually attentive (if a little inept and lacking in the finer skills of waiting) but I suppose you can't expect too much. It's a bustly, popular cafe with good food and reliable service. You will get a good meal here and value is ok.

Eat outside and inside! A delightful cafe/restaurant with heated patio to watch the world go by as you dine or drink. The food is to a good standard and the staff are very pleasant. Death by dessert is a real possibility here - they are enormous and delicious.

Had a very enjoyable breakfast. Staff are very attentive and are attitude free. Food had good flavours and venue is well located.
