Just went here for my son's 30th birthday and couldn't have asked for a better night. My husband and I are from Sydney and also travel OS extensively and we have never eaten better food. The flavours were fresh and exciting, the presentation was excellent and the service was friendly and helpful. What a hidden gem this venue is!

We found somewhere very special the day we walked into Brownkortes. A city standard restaurant in the beautiful ambience of rural Nillumbik. Brownkortes is set to become a firm favourite for whenever we want to indulge our gastronomic senses.

The food is incredible. Chefs Gordon and Martin put great care into selecting fresh, local and complimentary ingredients for their dishes. They look and taste like culinary masterpieces. The architecture of the restaurant itself and its setting, nestled amongst the hills and vineyards immediately makes you feel relaxed and ready to be indulged.

The service from our charming young waiter was second to none. Overall value for money a definite 10/10. The only reason I scored a 9 for food is that I suspect these amazing chefs have more up their sleeves in terms of attaining culinary perfection and I can't wait to try it! Serious food critics, where are you? Chefs Hats on the way for this one. Mmmm on the other hand, maybe I should keep Brownkortes as my own special secret.
